This futuristic melon cultivation support robot was created at the factory of Yamaoka Seiki Co., Ltd., a metal processing company in Shiga Prefecture.
Originally, craftsmen used precision metalworking to make parts essential to daily life, such as cars.
The company was born out of a desire to bring work that supports people's health closer to people, and the challenge of melon cultivation and protein development.

Although it has a metal body, inside its chest shines melon juice, which "connects the power of nature and man."
Mechamelon-chan is a hybrid being that combines hardness and gentleness.

What made me decide to make melon-flavored protein?

We are a company that manufactures precision metal parts in Shiga Prefecture. At first glance, we seem to be in a world far removed from beauty and health, so why did we decide to make protein?

It all started with a certain "discomfort" I felt in my daily work.

Thorough quality control is essential to manufacturing precision parts. From the selection of materials to the manufacturing process and inspection of the finished product, no compromise is permitted.
As I continued to maintain this strict attitude, I suddenly realized something.

"We make precision metal parts, but aren't the things that are truly valuable things that enrich people's hearts?"

We wondered if we could create something new and valuable by utilizing the technology and knowledge we have cultivated over the years, and we arrived at the idea of developing a protein that " brings out beauty from within ."

We wanted to provide women, especially those who lead busy lives, with a protein that is easy to use, delicious, and can support their beauty and health. With this desire in mind, we began our days of trial and error.

The meltwater from the Ibuki Mountains in Shiga Prefecture is rich in minerals and has enriched people's lives since ancient times. In order to use these melons in abundance, we have taken on the challenge of hydroponic cultivation, using as little pesticides as possible. Under strict quality control, we have carefully powdered the melons to preserve their original nutritional value.

Furthermore, it contains collagen , which is essential for beauty, as well as moringa , a superfood long known as the " miracle tree ," as well as dietary fiber and 11 types of vitamins . We have pursued a natural sweetness and flavor by using as few artificial sweeteners as possible.
